Mission
Our mission is to decrease the amount of kittens born to stray, feral and abandoned cats through Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR) efforts, and to place the adoptable cats we find into permanent, loving homes.
Strays R Us is a non-profit 501c3, all volunteer animal rescue located in Rahway NJ. We are working to improve the lives of homeless cats.
TNR - Ear Tipping
Ear-tipping is a widely accepted means of marking a feral cat who has been sterilized. It also often identifies them as being part of a cared colony. Ear-tipping is the humane surgical removal of 1/4 tip of the left ear. The procedure is performed by a licensed veterinarian, typically during the spay/neuter surgery. Ear-tipping is completely safe and rarely requires special aftercare. Ear-tipping is especially important as it prevents an already spayed or neutered cat the stress of re-trapping and more importantly, an unnecessary surgery.

Cat of the week
HI there, My name is Redd! I was rescued by Strays R Us from inside a big red pickup truck, I was a tiny guy covered in fleas, somehow I lost my mom and siblings, I was out in the world on my own. Now I am safe, healthy, and loved.
